Delia Yountz Hege

Delia Yountz Hege, age 96 of Clemmons went to be with the Lord on Friday December 31, 2010 at Mallard Ridge Assisted Living. A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Tuesday January 4, 2011 at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel with Rev. Ken Harris, Rev. TW Bailey and Dr. Harold Fletcher officiating. Burial will follow at Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Monday, January 3, 2011 at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel other times at the home of the daughter Alyce Hartman. Mrs. Hege was born in Davidson County on May 25, 1914 to Gurney Franklin Yountz and Mary Hoffman Yountz. She was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Gerthie Franklin Hege, her brothers; Telmos Yountz, Robert Younts, her sister; Ella Byerly. Surviving are her son; Franklin Hege of Arcadia, her daughter; Alyce Hartman and husband C A of Midway. Her sister; Pauline Young and husband Clyde Jr. of Arcadia, her grandchildren; Brian Hege , Marty Hartman and wife Angelia, her great-grandchild; Sarah Hartman.
