Delia Hege Trotta

Delia Hege Trotta age 97 passed away Friday, March 21, 2014 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home.   A funeral service will be held 3:00 pm Monday, March 24, 2014 at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel with Pastors Ken Harris and T. W. Bailey Officiating. Burial will follow in the Union Grove Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Sunday, March 23, 2014 at the funeral home.   Delia was born August 28, 1916 in Davidson County to Albert Hege and Ollie Berrier Hege. She is a member of Union Grove Baptist Church and had worked for the YMCA in New York where she resided for 52 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Tony Trotta.   Surviving are her nephews, Van Hege (Brenda), Sammy Hege (Missy) both of Arcadia, Glenn Hege (Maria) of Thomasville, nieces, Teresa Wagner (Ricky) of Salisbury, Melissa Wagner (Randy) of Rockwell, Judy Barnhill (Troy) Myrtle Beach.   The family would like memorials sent to: Union Grove Baptist Church ( Building Fund ), 2295 Union Grove Rd. Lexington, NC 27295.   Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel is assisting the family.
