Delores Ann Buie Bates McKay, 76, of Lexington, passed away Monday, March 28, 2022, at Lexington Health Care Center.
Mrs. McKay was born March 16, 1946, in Rowan County to Joseph Thomas Buie Sr. and Elizabeth White Buie. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph McKay; and one son, Baxter Franklin Bates III.
Surviving is one son, Bobby Dean Bates; three brothers, James Buie, Larry Buie, and Joseph Buie; one sister, Patricia Robbins; two granddaughters; and four great-grandchildren.
