Dennis Huffman Mickle

Dennis Huffman Hinkle, age 78 of Ravenwood Lane, Lexington passed away Wednesday morning (6-24-2009) at Thomasville Medical Center. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Monday (6-29-2009) at Bethany United Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Charles Hutchins officiating. Dennis was born in Clinton County, Ohio December 14, 1930 to Herschel C. Mickle and Amanda Piggot Mickle. He was a retired Staff Sgt. with the United States Air Force after 23 years of service. He served his Country in the Korean and Vietnam War. He was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Herschel Mickle, Jr. and a sister Sarah Schroth. Surviving are; wife, Donna Piatt Mickle of the home; three daughters, Lorenda Hunt of Vickerville, CA, Cheryl Turner of Virginia Beach, VA and Brenda Cox and husband Rick of Lexington; three sons, Dennis T. Mickle of Florence, CO, Daryn L. Mickle of Vickerville, CA and James Turner of Royal Palm Beach, FL.; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; one brother, Brian Mickle and wife Mary Lou of Bloomingburg, Ohio. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 am Monday in the church fellowship hall prior to the service.
