Dennis Gregory Redd

Dennis Gregory Redd, Sr., 75, passed away on January 15, 2024. He was born in Norfolk, Virginia on March 4, 1948, to Lewis and Evelyn Redd.

Dennis was a skilled fabricator and the proud owner of Anything Fiberglass, a business he built from his passion. He dedicated his life to his work and made a lasting impact on those he served.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Lewis and Evelyn Redd, and his beloved wife, Katherine Byrd Redd. Dennis is survived by his loving children, Dennis Gregory (Greg) Redd, Jr. (Meredith Drew), Lewis Leonard (Len) Redd (Augustine), Shann Wayne Dalton (Tammy), and Tony Dalton (Jennifer).

He will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren: Cydney Paige Benson (Adam), Ashton Redd, Sarah Blake Skews, Jase Skews, Meghan Dion (Steven), Bryce Redd, Haleigh Dalton, Madyson Dalton, Brittany Dalton, Tyler Dalton, Ethan Myers, Danielle Myers, and Matthew Myers. His great-grandchildren include Arthur Dion, Nila Barco, Kaia Barco, Kaison Dalton, and Xander Dalton.

Dennis cherished his family and enjoyed shared moments with his siblings: James Ronnie Redd (Janet), Daniel Redd, and Evelyn Longinotti.

Known for his love of fishing, NASCAR, and wrestling, Dennis had a zest for life that touched everyone around him.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, January 19, 2024, at Davidson Funeral Home Hickory Tree Chapel, with Pastor Mike Duffield officiating. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service, and burial will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made in Dennis' name to the Lung Cancer Foundation of America.
