Dennis Robert Lyons

Dennis Robert Lyons age 67 of Winston Salem passed away Thursday, March 21, 2013 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. A memorial service will be held 3:00 pm Sunday, March 24, 2013 at Unity Baptist Church, 145 Fishel Rd. Winston Salem NC with Pastor Benny Sprouse. The family will receive friends 2:00 pm until 2:45 pm at the church. Burial will follow on a later date at Riverside Cemetery in upstate NY. Dennis was born June 4, 1945 in Oswego County, NY to Gordon Lyons and Anita Karth Lyons. He was a member of Unity Baptist Church and had served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was employed by Atrium Windows and doors. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter; Andrea Jean Lyons, son: Daniel Joseph Lamond, brothers: Jack Lyons Sr., Dwayne Lyons. Surviving are his wife Linda Davis LaMond Lyons of the home, daughters: Denise Robin Lyons and husband Kevin Seymour of NY, Michelle Walton and husband Daniel of KY. grandchildren; Brittany, Darrell, Shelby, Dana, Robert, Devin, great grand children; Jordyn-Lynn, Olivia, twin brother; Daniel Lyons and wife Jeanette of NY, his sister; Roxann Jock and husband Stanley of AZ and several nieces and nephews. Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel is assisting the family.
