Dessie Fox

Dessie Lamb Fox, age 88 of Tyro Road, Lexington passed away at her home on Saturday, November 29, 2008. A Graveside service will be held at 4:00 pm Monday at Victory Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Roy Frank officiating. Dessie was born in Greene County, TN August 8, 1920 to Nathan Byrd Lamb and Annie Reynolds Lamb. She was a homemaker and a member of Victory Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Kathryn Guill, a grandson Wayne Guill and daughter in law Darcille Cosby. Surviving are: Son, Lawrence Cosby of Lexington; four grandchildren, Melinda Jennings and husband Dennis of Danville, VA, David Cosby of Lexington, Debbie Walker of Danville, VA and Bonnie Moore of Lexington; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 3:00 – 4:00 pm Monday at the church and other times at the home.
