Dewitte Doman

William Dewitte Doman, 83, of Lexington passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at his home.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Mr. Doman was born in Davidson County on February 25, 1939, to Melvin Dewitte Doman and Virginia Bean Doman. He was a truck driver, having retired from Yellow Freight in Charlotte and was a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather whose memory will be cherished forevermore. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Phoebe Doman.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Goldie Owen Doman; his daughter, Aleta Doman Long; a sister, Dr. Eunice Doman Myers (Jerry); a grandson, Nicholas Ryan Doman Long (Melissa); and his two great-grandchildren, Alexis Summer Long, and Ryan Matthew Long.
