Diana Leonard Covington

Diana Leonard Covington, 67 of Koontz Rd Lexington passed away March 7, 2024, at the Hinkle House.

Mrs. Covington was born December 10, 1956, in Davidson County to Pierce Hatley Leonard and Frances Everhart Weaver. She enjoyed attending her church and her church family. She enjoyed cooking breakfast and being with family.

Surviving are her husband Mark Covington of the home; her daughter Christy Smith (Jason) of Lexington; her sister Teresa Beck (Eddie) of Lexington; grandchildren Abbie Leonard, Kelcie Smith, Gavin Smith, Jacob Smith and Lucas Smith; three great-grandchildren Zane, Zion and Rosely.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Franklin Leonard and Timmy Leonard and her sister Rhonda Nifong.

A memorial service will be held at 3pm on Monday, March 11th at Crossroads Church.  The family will receive friends following the service.
