Diana Younts Essick

Diana Younts Essick, 66, of Yadkin College Rd., Lexington passed away Friday, October 28, 2016 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home.   A funeral will be held at 4:00 pm Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at Friendship United Methodist Church with Pastor Doug Pryor officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.   The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at Davidson Funeral Home.   Ms. Essick was born November 14, 1949  to Ruby Broadway Younts.  She was a member of Friendship United Methodist Church and a manager of Mrs. Hanes Moravian Cookies.   Surviving are two daughters, Felicia Essick Hicks (Herbert) Michelle Essick Younts (Ryan) both of Lexington; one grandson, Zack Essick and fiancée, Holly Morgan; two sisters, Betty Crowell of Maryland and Glenna Julian of South Carolina.   Memorials may be directed to Kate B.
