Diane Barber Gallimore, 51, of Green Farm Road, died Saturday afternoon, Nov. 17, 2007, at the home of her daughter.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Walters Grove Baptist Church by the Rev. Clyde Akers. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Ms. Gallimore was born in Cumberland County on July 3, 1956, to David Donald Barber and Peggy Marie Dow Barber. She was employed with Dura Lee Furniture, and she was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her father.
Surviving are four daughters, Maggie Moore and her husband, Lane, Donna Kennedy and her husband, Andy, Amanda Morris and her husband, Onery Clark, all of Lexington and Angie Creel and her husband, Scott, of Asheboro; seven grandchildren; her mother, Peggy Marie Barber Holbrook of Lexington; three brothers, Donnie Barber of South Boston, Va., Jessie Barber of Oliver Springs, Tenn., and Roy Barber of Churchland; and a sister, Peggy Kay Barber Stone of Lexington.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Monday at Davidson Funeral Home and at other times at the home on Green Farm Road, Asheboro.
