Dianne Lambert

Dianne Lanier Lambert, 68, of S. NC Highway 150, died Sunday, July 31, 2016, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. A memorial service will be 7 p.m. Thursday, August 4, 2016, at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gary Tate and Brother Rick Lanier officiating. Burial will follow at a later date. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday prior to the service. Mrs. Lambert was born June 25, 1948, in Davidson County, to Robert Wade Lanier and Margaret Pressley Lanier. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by grandson, Steven Gathings; brothers, Carlton Lanier, Terry Lanier; sister, Shelby Perry; sister-in-law, Sheree Lanier; and brother-in-law, Hubert Perry. Surviving are her loving husband J.R. Lambert of the home; daughters, Carla Denise Fisher and husband Troy of Virginia, and Crystal Bailey and husband Danny of Lexington; five grandchildren, Michael Gathings and wife, Emily, Kyndell Rogers, Coree Monk, Destani Monk, and Karissa Monk; two great-grandchildren, Kynleigh Gathings and Clay Gathings; brother, Rick Lanier and wife Pat of Lexington; and sisters, Lena Mae Presnell and husband Len and Beatrice Metcalf and husband Jerry, all of Lexington.
