Dixie Mae Mclamb

Dixie Mae Marshburn McLamb, 89, of Carolina House, died Wednesday, October 14, 2009, at the nursing home.   A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Monday, October 19, 2009, at National Cemetery in Salisbury with Pastors Ray and Ruth Ann Sipe officiating.   Mrs. McLamb was born November 20, 1919, in Pender County, to James Thomas Marshburn and Gussie Leola Gurganious Marshburn. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Kinston.   Surviving are her husband, Dorcas “Mac” McLamb of the home; daughter, Brenda Sanders and husband, Michael, of Lexington; three grandchildren, Nathan Sanders and wife, Amanda, of Raleigh, Noah Sanders and wife, Carrie, of Burlington, and Lydia Sanders of Charlotte; and two grandchildren, Savanna Sanders and Sadie Sanders of Burlington.   The family will receive friends at the daughter’s home on Fairview Drive.   Memorials may be made to Alzheimers Association Piedmont Triad/NC Chapter, 1315 Ashleybrook Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.   Online condolences may be made at www.davidsonfuneralhome.net
