Dois Hill

Mr. Dois Michael Hill, 54, of Charity Lane, died Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at his home after declining health. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday from the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel, by Preacher Clyde Akers. Burial will follow in the Lexington City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Thursday at Davidson Funeral Home and other times at the home. Mr. Hill was born September 28, 1956 in Davidson County to Paul and Geneva Cartrette Hill. He was an auto mechanic and a member of Freedom Baptist Church. His wife, Gail Huffman Hill, preceded him in death on April 12, 2007. Surviving are his son, Michael Paul Minton and wife, Julia, of Linwood; his daughter, Lisa Dawn Minton of the home; his grandchildren; Hayley Minton, James Wright, Jr., Floyd Wright, Patrick Wright, and Casey Wright; and his sister, Linda Hill of Lexington.
