Don Eugene Dempsey

Donald “Don” Eugene Dempsey, 65, of Amberly Drive in Lexington, passed away December 15, 2022 at his home. Don was born October 18, 1957 in Alabama to Melvin Ardale Dempsey and Idella Miladean Hollingsworth Dempsey. He was retired from the United States Navy and enjoyed Shooting Sports, politics, history, documentaries, and gospel music. Don was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving is his wife, Dawn Michell Tenney Dempsey, of the home; a son, Jeremy-Wayne Dempsey (Katie) of Kernersville; a daughter, Chelsea Ecuyer (Woods) of Charlotte; two brothers, Jon Dempsey (Brenda) and Wayne Dempsey (Amy) both of Tennessee and a sister Becky Dempsey of Tennessee.
