Donald Jackson Byerly

Donald “Jack” Byerly, 87, of Lexington, died Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at Lexington Health Care in Lexington.   Mr. Byerly was born December 31, 1931 in Davidson County to Elmer Henderson Byerly and Claudia Beck Byerly. He was employeed at Chairtown Motors and later owned B&B Auto Sales.  He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, James Byerly, Robert Byerly and Charlie Byerly; five sisters, Shirley Newcomb, Martha Miller, Helen Kirkus, Mary Driver and Ann Kirkus; a grandson, Anthony Charles; and a daughter-in-law Kathie Byerly.   Surviving is his wife, Mary Frances Byerly of the home, a son, Freddie Byerly of Lexington; a sister, Betty Scott of Lexington; 1 grandchild, Kelly Maroney Byerly of Lexington; 4 great-grandchildren, Christopher Strack, Amanda Strack, Cody Carter, and Adam Carter and 2 special friends, Kyle Mouyios and Colby Stoneman.
