Donald Mcwill Coffey Jr.

Mr. Donald McWill Coffey Jr., age 71, of Lexington, passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at his home. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, September 2, 2016 at Forest Hill Memorial Park with the Rev. Henry King officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Thursday at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington and other times at the home. Mr. Coffey was born on March 10, 1945 in Charlotte, NC to Donald McWill Coffey Sr. and Lois Alma Williams Coffey. In addition to his parents, Mr. Coffey was preceded in death by a brother, Bud Coffey; and a sister, Elizabeth Coffey Jordan. Surviving are his loving wife, Mary Smith Coffey of the home; three daughters, Donna Coleman (Michael), Brenda Jennings (Jesse), and Christy Thompson (Brian) all of Lexington; one sister, Carolyn Durham of Greensboro; and 4 grandchildren, Cody Morris, Kendall Coleman, David Gordon, and Heather Garrett.
