In Loving Memory of Donald Lemmings Jr.

Donald Lemmings Jr., age 77, passed away peacefully on July 29th, 2024, surrounded by his loving family at Forsyth Medical Center. Born on September 10th, 1946, to the late Donald Lee Lemmings Sr and Margaret Riggs Lemmings. Donald was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend who lived a life full of adventure and passion.

Donald had a zest for life that was evident in everything he did. His greatest joys were found on the open road, riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, feeling the wind against his face and the freedom of the ride. An avid outdoorsman, Donald loved fishing and hunting. He spent many peaceful mornings by the water with his fishing rod in hand, and autumn weekends in the woods, hunting with friends and family. These hobbies were not just pastimes but a way for him to connect with nature and create cherished memories with those he loved. He is survived by his beloved wife, Gail Hinshaw Lemmings, his devoted children Donald Lemmings III (Susan) of High Point, NC., Mike Lemmings (Kim) of High Point, NC. And Patricia Lemmings of Salisbury, NC. As well as his cherished nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by his extended family, his friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A private graveside service was held at Lexington City Cemetery August 2nd, 2024 at 2 P.M.
