Donald Lane Moore, age 61, of Lexington passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.
In order to comply with directives from Governor Cooper’s office, a private funeral service will be held on Monday, April 27th in the Davidson Funeral Home Hickory Tree Chapel and will be streamed live on the Davidson Funeral Home Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/davidson.funeralhome/
Donald was born on July 12, 1958 in McDowell County, West Virginia to Clyde Edward Moore and Betty Sue Greer Canter.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clyde Edward Moore and grandchild, Jacob Austin Walker.
Ones left to cherish his memory are his mother, Betty Sue Greer Canton of Lexington; his son, Jimmy Walker (Michelle) of Winston-Salem and their children, Justin Walker and Kimberly Walker; and son, Dennis Walker of Winston Salem and his child, Alex Walker; his daughter, Kristal Walker (Jimmy Childers) and children, Hailey Walker and Alyssa Jones; his brothers, Edward Wayne Moore (Ann) of Lowgap, NC; George Lee Moore of Winston Salem; Raymond Eugene Moore (Ginger) of Lexington; and Melvin Moore of Pilot Mtn; sisters, Susan Marie Lemunyan (Cobey) of Lexington and Karen Ann Moore of Winston-Salem; and one great-grandchild, Ally-May Faith Gehman.
Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Davidson County and to Madison Heights Freewill Baptist Church.
