Donald Ray Reno Sr., 63, of Foy Avenue, died Thursday, March 16, 2006, at his home after six months of declining health.
The funeral will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Davidson Funeral Home Lexington Chapel by the Rev. Tommy Hepler. Burial will be in Lexington City Cemetery.
Mr. Reno was born March 14, 1943, to Andy Reno and Dolly May Sholtz. He was a retired brick mason and of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents and his stepfather, Gib Payne Sr.
Surviving are his wife, Christine Burkhart Reno of the home; three sons, Donald Ray Reno and his wife, Wendy, of Lexington and Hab Reno and David Reno, both of the home; a daughter, Diana Harbin and her husband, Tim, of Lexington; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Charles Payne and his wife, Mary, of Lexington; and a sister, Phyllis Scott and her husband, Randy, of Lexington.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 Saturday at Davidson Funeral Home and other times at the residence on Foy Avenue.
