Donald Ray Shoaf

Donald Ray Shoaf, 71, of Dear Haven Lane, died Thursday, July 2, 2009, at Abbotts Creek Care and Rehabilitation Center. The funeral will be 11:00 am Saturday, July 4, 2009, at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church, with the Revs. Edwin Crisco and Bruce Morasco officiating. Mr. Shoaf was born June 10, 1938, in Davidson County, to Arvil Cletus Shoaf and Myrtle Cope Shoaf. Surviving are his brother, Richard Shoaf and wife, Diane, of Lexington, his sisters, Ruby Rowe of Lexington and Hilda Wilson and husband, Charles, of Spanish Fork, Utah; several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8p.m. Friday, July 3, 2009, at Davidson Funeral Home Lexington Chapel.
