Donald Wallace Jr., a resident of Lexington, North Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at the age of 63. Born on Thursday, January 4, 1962, Donald was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend whose life touched those around him with kindness and dedication. Donald was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force and carried the values he learned while serving into his civilian life. He spent his career as a dedicated forklift operator at Vita Cost, where his hard work and meticulous nature left a lasting impression on his colleagues. Outside of work, Donald had a passion for hunting and collecting various items and figurines. Above all, Donald held his family close to his heart, especially his mother, whom he adored and cared for with immense love and devotion until she passed. Donald also enjoyed aggravating his nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews in a loving manner. Donald is remembered by his brother Jamie Wallace (Jean), his sister Melissa Shough (Doug), and his nieces and nephews: Misty Hamilton (Chris), Sumer Shough, Kayla Winter (Robert), and Allan Shough, and his great-nieces and nephews: Skylar Hamilton, Lane Brown, Liam Pickett, and Romulus Winter. Donald was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Donald Ray Wallace Sr. and Mary Ann Wallace. Family and friends will have the opportunity to celebrate and honor Donald's life during a visitation on Friday, June 6, 2025, from 5-7 pm. Donald Wallace Jr. will be remembered for his unwavering loyalty, his love for the simple pleasures of life, and his enduring commitment to those he held dear. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
