Donald Roy Wunderlich

Donald Roy Wunderlich, 77, of Michael Road in Lexington, passed away Wednesday February 2, 2022 at McCall Hospice House in Simpsonville South Carolina.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Wednesday February 16, 2022 at Arrington Heights Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Doug McGee officiating services. Burial will follow at the National Cemetery in Salisbury North Carolina with military graveside rites.

The family will receive family and friends on Tuesday, February 15th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington NC.

Mr. Wunderlich was born June 20, 1944 in Kay County Oklahoma to Gael Wunderlich and Nola Adkins Wunderlich. Donald was a member of Arrington Heights Freewill Baptist Church, a member of Masonic Lodge 473 and a 20 year veteran of the United States Air Force.  He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Patricia Ann Buchanan Wunderlich; two sons Gary Wunderlich and Mark Wunderlich; and two brothers Carl Wunderlich and Larry Wunderlich.

Surviving is his daughter, Darby Langston (Gunter) of Mauldin South Carolina; three grandchildren, Gunter Langston, Reddick Langston and Brittany Mills; and 2 great-grandchildren, Evan Maujahed and Logan Moujahed.
