Donna Mcdorman Ferguson

Donna McDorman Ferguson, age 55, of Beech Drive, Lexington passed away Monday morning with her family by her bedside at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem. A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday (January 31, 2015) in the Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel with Rev. Eric Disher officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 until 2:00 prior to the service. Donna was born in Chesapeake, Virginia, December 28, 1959 to Stewart Franklin McDorman, Jr. and Doris Lee Stotler McDorman. She was an Optical Technician with Wal-Mart and member of Lexington Community Church. She was preceded in death by her parents. Surviving are her husband, Arthur Henry Ferguson of the home; daughter, Shannon Nichol Felton (Kevin) of Chesapeake, VA; Matthew David Hall (fiancee Ginger) of Thomasville, NC and Anthony John Ferguson (Amy) of Jacksonville, NC; grandchildren, Tierney, Darcy and Anthony Ferguson, Austin Butterfield, Kinsley and Tessa Felton; sisters, Joanne Johnson (James) of Virginia Beach, VA, and Terry Graham (Mike) of Pensacola, FL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 4A Oak Branch Drive, Greensboro, NC 27407 or to donor’s choice of charity.
