Donna Hill

Donna Lynn Lanier Hill, 58, of Lingle Farm Road, Lexington passed away Monday, January 27, 2014 at Hinkle Hospice House. A funeral service will be 3:00 pm Thursday, January 30, 2014 at Reeds United Methodist Church with Rev. Duncan Martin officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 pm Thursday prior to the service and at other times at the home. Mrs. Hill was born January 22, 1956 in Davidson County to J.W. Lanier and Virginia Cole Lanier. She was a self employed Truck Driver and attended Reeds United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her father, J. W. Lanier. Surviving are her husband, Ronnie Hill of the home; a son, Randy Swicegood (Tabitha) of Lexington; two step-daughters, Lori Hill Younts (Phil) of Lexington, Lisa Barney (Darryl) of Davie County; her mother, Virginia Cole Lanier Leonard of Lexington; two grandchildren, Kaleb Swicegood, Landon Swicegood; three step-grandchildren, Savannah Younts, Wake Younts, Courtney Barney; a brother, Phil Lanier (Lori) of Lexington and a sister, Karen Lanier Jordan (Burt) of Winston-Salem. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292. The family would like to thank the staff of Hospice for all their love and care given to Donna.
