Donna Everhart Justice

Donna Mae Everhart Justice, 81, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 01, 2019.  Donna passed away peacefully after an extended illness at Hinkle Hospice House.    A funeral service will be held at 1pm Wednesday, September 4 at Pilgrim Lutheran Church, by the Rev. Craig Saltzer.  Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.   The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.    Mrs. Justice was born May 19, 1938 in Davidson County to Walter Lee Evehart and Lottie Fitzgerald Everhart.  She retired from PPG Industries and wa a member of Pilgrim Lutheran Church.  Her son, James (Jimmy) Gordon, her sisters, Dorcas Dix, Christine Brown, Melva Dean Shipton, and Elva Jean Crotts, and her brother, Johnny Everhart, preceded her in death.    She is survived by her sons, Michael Gordon of Goldsboro, and Jerry Gordon (Kathy) of Breckenridge, CO; her grandchildren, Jeremy Gordon, Melissa Gordon, and Kimberly Swing; her great-grandchildren, Jacob Gordon, Tabitha Gordon, Sophia Gordon, Titus Swing, Thomas Swing, Tyler Swing, and Megan Swing; and her twin sister, Mona Rae Crotts.    The family would like to thank the staff of Hospice of Davidson County for bringing peace and comfort to Donna during the last few weeks.    In lieu of flowers, memorials should be directed to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington NC 27292.
