Donna Lee Mahoney Nivin

Donna Lee Mahoney Nivin, 56, of Yadkin College Road, died Wednesday, October 28, 2009, at her home. A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, October 31, 2009, at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. William O’Neal officiating. Mrs. Nivin was born October 16, 1953, in Patterson, N.J., to Edward Francis Mahoney and Bette Jean Baart Mahoney Block. She was preceded in death by her father. Surviving are her mother and stepfather, Bette Block and Philip Block, of Lexington, NC; brothers, Bart Edward Mahoney and wife, Lynn, of Tucson, Az., and Timothy Mahoney and wife, Gail, of Poultney, Vt.; a sister, Bonnie Lincoln and husband, James D., of Arlington, Vt.; niece, Erin Jones-Ravgiala; and nephew, Richard Brian Jones. There will be no formal visitation.
