Donnie Duane Fitch

Donnie Duane Fitch age 71 of Milan, TN passed away Monday, January 5, 2015 at Forsyth Medical Center. A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, January 10, 2015 at Bethany Baptist Church of Thomasville with Revs. Tom Fields, Brady Lowery, David McNeill and Ken Gibson. Burial will follow to Charity Baptist Church in Lexington. The family will receive friends 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm before the service. Donnie was born April 23, 1943 in Flint MI to Cyril “Clifford” Fitch and Nola Virginia Jones Fitch. He served as a Minister of the gospel for 51 years and was a member of Charity Baptist Church of Lexington. He pastored 13 years, established 3 churches from scratch, sung with SongMasters of Milan, TN for 4 years. Regan full time evangelism in 1983, traveled thousands of miles, preached and sang for 31 years. He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are his wife of 49 years Judy Wood Fitch of the home, daughter, Melanie Ellis ( Doug ) of Lexington, grandchildren, Ethan Ellis and Micah Ellis, sister, Jinnie Lou Truthan ( Jeff ) of Spokane, Washington.
