Doris Morris Burleyson

Doris Morris Burleyson, 63 of Pennington Avenue, Lexington, died Sunday morning in Forsyth Medical Center. Mrs. Burleyson was born December 7, 1942 in Montgomery County to Max Morris and Maxine Riley Morris. A homemaker, she was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by a brother, Roy Lee Morris, Sr. Survining are her husband Marvin Junior Burleyson of the home; daughters Linda Haithcox and husband Terry of Lexington; Debbie Corriher and husband Allen of Mooresville; a son Baldy Mullis and wife Shelia of Mt. Pleasant; step-son Johnny Smith of Lexington; grandchildren Terry Haithcox; Jason Haithcox; Kimberly Brasington; Randy Mullis; Samantha Nolan and Michael Corriher; great-grandchildren Isiah Long and Jordan Brasington. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The service will be conducted by Rev. Carroll L. Pusey. Burial will be in Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:30 PM Wednesday at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington and other times at the home.
