Doris Koontz Duncan

Doris Elizabeth Koontz Duncan, age 63 of Michael Road died Sunday morning at her home. Mrs. Duncan was born September 10, 1943 in Davidson County to Hubert Koontz and Katherine Koontz. She was the retired co-owner of Red Bird Cab and sold Produce at The Farmers Market. She was of the Baptist Faith. Surviving are her husband Charles Duncan of the home: One son, Charles Duncan Jr. and his wife Kim of Lexington: One daughter, Geana Craver and her husband Brian: Four Grandchildren, Josh Craver and Matthew Craver both of Lexington: Jonathon Adams and Heather Tysinger both of Lexington. Also surviving are her beloved Poodle, Tiny. A Graveside service will be 11:00 am Tuesday At Forest Hill Memorial Park conducted by Rev. Clyde Akers and entombment to follow in the Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 7-8 pm Monday at Davidson Funeral Home and at other times at the home on Michael Road. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Davidson County P.O.
