Doris Walser Hart

Doris Walser Hart age 83 passed away Sunday night, November 11, 2012 at Forsyth Medical Center following a brief illness. A funeral service will held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 17, 2012 at Center United Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Stephen Pillsbury officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. A visitation will be held at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree on Friday, November 16, 2012 from 6 to 8 PM. Doris was born on November 28, 1928 in Davidson County to Nobe William and Sarah Nettie Shoaf Walser. She was former owner of Landingham Plumbing and Heating, Inc. She graduated from Ashemore Business College and was a member of Center United Methodist Church. Doris was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Norman Everette Hart who died in 1983. Surviving are two daughters, Sarah Jennings of Winston-Salem, Rhonda Brinkley and husband Ronnie of Wilmington, NC; one brother, Donald Walser and wife Audrey of Welcome; two grandchildren, Andrea Crowley and husband Worth, Ryan Brinkley and one great-grandchild, Jordan Loughlin.
