Doris Epley Pickett

Ms. Doris Epley Pickett, 86, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, November 9. 2022, at Cadence of Clemmons Assisted Living.

A graveside service will be 2:00 pm Sunday, November 13, 2022, at New Vision Baptist Worship Center conducted by Pastor T.W. Bailey.

Doris was born October 17, 1936, in Iredell County to the late Carl and Nettie Epley. Her daughter, Blenda Pickett Weaver and four brothers also preceded her in death.

Surviving are her daughter, Sherri Harris (Clayton) of Clemmons, and a son Rick Pickett of Asheville. Her son in law, Jerry Weaver of Clemmons. Also, surviving are her grandchildren, Ashley Thomas (Lewis) of Winston Salem, Kelly Owens (Richie) of Lexington, Beth Smith (Joseph) of Lexington, Jason Weaver of Clemmons, and Corey Weaver (Jessica) of Winston Salem. Her great- grandchildren, Madelyn Thomas, Lucas Thomas, Xander Owens, Samanda Owens, Emma Smith, Colton Smith, Cortland Weaver, and Cristian Weaver.
