Doris Lankford Robinson

Doris Lankford Robinson, age 80, of Pine Top Road, Lexington passed away Saturday morning at Lexington Health Care.   Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Tuesday in the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel, Lexington with Rev. David Robinson officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home from 12:30-1:30 prior to the service.   Doris was born in Wilkes County, August 19, 1932 to John Palmer and Bertha King Lankford. She was a member of Madison Heights Free Will Baptist Church. She was a retired employee of Duracell and later worked at Brookstone Retirement Center. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Betty Everhart and Thelma Lankford; brother, Curtis Lankford.   Doris is survived by her daughter, Deborah Evans (Ken) of Lexington; sons, Rocky Cannon, Randy Cannon (Gail) and Marty Robinson all of Lexington; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; brother, Bobby Lankford of Lexington.   Online Condolences may be made at www.davidsonfuneralhome.net
