Doris Jean Trexler Young

Doris Jean Trexler Young, 77, of Lexington passed away Friday, January 31, at Hinkle Hospice House.

A funeral service will be 3:00 pm Monday February 3, 2020 at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Jerry Bowen. Burial will follow in the Lexington City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:30 pm prior to the funeral service.

Doris was born January 25, 1943 in Davidson County to Marcus Adam Trexler and Gladys Almon Trexler. She was a member of the Amazing Grace Baptist Church and was retired from Fieldcrest- Salisbury Plant. She is preceded in death by her brother, Francis Marcus Trexler and sister, Lois T. Potts.

She is survived by her husband, Robbie Lee Young of the home; her sons, Robbie Lee Young Jr. and wife Diana of Salisbury, NC and William Joseph Young of the home; her daughter, Luann Puckett and husband David of Lexington, her 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
