Dorothy Ailene Beck

Dorothy  Ailene "Neanie" Beck age 91 passed away Friday, November 27, 2020 at Brookstone Retirement Home.  A graveside service will be 11:00 am Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at Forest Hill Memorial Park conducted by Rev. Paula Wells. Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum.

Miss Beck was born January 7, 1929 in Davidson County to Crawford and Mildred Everhart Beck. Her parents preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Foy E. "Duke" Beck; brothers in law, Joe Moncus and Jerry Koontz. She retired from Dacotah Cotton Mill and was a member of Second United Church of Christ.

Surviving are her sisters, Marie Moncus of Lexington and JoEtta Koonts of Daytona Beach, Florida.  Also surviving are nieces, Tina Jenkins and Joan Harris (Steve) and nephews, Mark Koontz (Lynn) and Chris Koontz (Ashley), a special great nephew, Kris Jenkins and many other great nieces and nephews.
