Dorothy Brown Cook

Dorothy Brown Cook, age 80, of Lexington passed away on Friday, October 7, 2016 at the Hinkle Hospice House.   There will be no formal services held.   Mrs. Cook was born on July 6, 1936 in Tazwell, VA to Robert Britten Brown and Ida Sargent Brown. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Raymond Cook; three brothers, Johnny Brown, Robert Brown, and Harvey Brown; and two sisters, Judy Branham, and Edna Boutchard.   Surviving are her loving daughter, Teresa Hinkle and husband Johnny of Lexington, NC; and one sister, Mary Able of Fredericksburg, VA.   In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Hospice of Davidson County at 200 Hospice Way Lexington, NC 27292.
