Dorothy Link Huffman, age 88, formerly of Mt. Olivet Church Rd. Lexington passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Friday, October 30, 2015 at Church of Christ at Arcadia with Pastors Bobby Leonard, Tony Morrison and Sam Crews officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 Thursday, October 29, 2015 at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel, and other times at the home of Christy Truluck. Dorothy was born February 12, 1927 in Davidson County to Robert Lee Link and Myrtle Byerly Link. She was a member of Church of Christ at Arcadia and retired from LUWA Bahnson. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 57 years Jasper Clinton Huffman Sr., brothers, Bub Link and Reid Link, sisters, Lynn Link and Thelma Reid. Surviving are her sons, Kent Huffman ( Angie ), Robbie Huffman, daughter, Christy Truluck ( Hinley ), brothers, Bobby Link ( Betty ), Richard Link ( Peggy ), Monty Link ( Bonnie ), Wayne Link, brother in-law, Hauser Reid, sister in-law, Polly Craver, Daisy Huffman and Margaret Link, grand-children, Meredith Anderson ( Jamie), Patrick Truluck ( Missi ), Taylor Huffman, Ryan Huffman, Curtis Huffman and Morgan Decker (Zach ), great grandchildren, AJ and Weston Truluck, Judah Decker.
