Dorothy “Punkin” Alexandria Lewis Deal , 51, of North Leonard Road, died Sunday, December 14, 2008, at her home. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, where she attended, by the Rev. Dr. John Beeg. Burial will follow in Beulah United Church of Christ Cemetery. Mrs. Deal was born July 19, 1957, in Davidson County, to Roy Lewis and Wanda Aileen Leonard Lewis. She was a stock clerk at Rite Aid Pharmacy. She was preceded in death by her father, Roy Lewis, her mother, Wanda Aileen Leonard Lewis Fritts and her stepfather, Byard Collin Fritts. Surviving are her husband, Donald Reid Deal Sr. of the home; a son, Donald Reid “Donnie” Deal II and wife, Jessika, of Lexington; three grandchildren, Jordan G. Deal, Olivia C. Deal, and Kezlie K. Deal; and sisters, Cathy Hedrick and husband, Dallas, and Rochelle James and husband, Gleon, all of Lexington. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Davidson Funeral Home.
