Dorothy Elizabeth Sink

Dorothy Elizabeth Sink Sink, age 100 of City Lake Rd, Lexington, died Wednesday in Abbotts Creek Care. A funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday October 9, 2010 at Pilgrim Lutheran Church where she was the oldest member conducted by Rev Craig Saltzer, burial will follow in Pilgrim Lutheran Church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the church, prior to the service. Mrs. Sink was born February 2, 1910 in Davidson County; to Joseph Franklin Sink and Ada Pearl Sink Sink. She was a retired secretary for Bob’s recapping and later Shoaf’s recapping. She was preceded in death by her husband David Franklin Sink. Surviving Mrs. Sink are one son, Bob Sink and wife, Frances, of Lexington; four grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Renovation fund of Pilgrim Lutheran Church, 823 Ridge Road, Lexington, N.C. 27295
