Dorothy Wilson "Dot" Sink, 94, of Sunbridge of Lexington and formerly of City Lake Road, Lexington, died Friday, Feb. 3, 2006, at Sunbridge after declining health.
She was born May 17, 1911, in Davidson County to Fredrick Agustus Wilson and Lessie Everhart Wilson. She was a graduate of Draughn Business School and the former owner and operator of The Flower Box. She was a past member of the Lexington Florist Association, as well as the Pilot Club of Lexington. She was a member of Pilgrim Lutheran Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Lingle Sink, and her brother, Ted Wilson.
Surviving are son Fred Sink and wife Becky of Lexington; daughter Patsy Hanes and husband Richard of Lexington; grandchildren Carol Ann Little, Heather Hanes and Charlie Sink; great-grandchildren Noah Little and Ashton Little; and sister Helen Cooley of Charlotte.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 6, at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel, by the Rev. James White. Burial will be at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at Davidson Funeral Home.
