Doug Woodrow Duffey

Douglas Duffey, age 81, of Pickett Road passed away at Hinkle Hospice House, Monday, June 13, 2022.

A celebration of life will be held 4:00 pm Thursday, June 16, 2022, at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel with Pastor Harold Fletcher officiating. Visitation will be after the service as friends are leaving.

Doug was born December 6, 1940, in Davidson County to Harvey Thomas Duffey and Mabel Berrier Duffey. He was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church. Doug is preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Sarah Fletcher, Annette McKinnish, and a brother, Gary Duffey

Surviving is his wife; Tammy Duggins Duffey of the home, sons; Douglas R. Duffey (Kathy) of Lexington, Dallas A. Duffey (Rhonda) of Arlington, Texas, Charlie K. Duffey (Anita) of Albuquerque, NM, daughters; Tammy A. Shipley of Lexington, Whitni Duffey (Josh) of Lexington, brother; Tommy Duffey (Patsy), eight grandchildren; Jefferson, Krista, Marcus, Marshall, Carson, Caleb, Brianna, Petey, nine great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hinkle Hospice House, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292.
