Doug Kirk

Douglas Scott Kirk, 40, of Arnold Road, died Thursday, August 22 in Lexington.

A funeral service with military honors will be held at 2pm Friday, August 30 at the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel, by the Revs. Arron Long and Richard “Chip” Kirk.  Burial will follow at Paul’s Chapel Evangelical and Reformed Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5-7pm Thursday at Davidson Funeral Home.

Mr. Kirk was born May 22, 1979 in Forsyth County to Scott Timothy Kirk and Hilda Paulette Everhart Kirk.  He proudly served his country in the US Marines Corps.  Doug always had a smile on his face and loved talking to and helping people.

He is survived by his parents of Lexington; his grandmother, Hilda Everhart of Lexington; his special aunt, Debbie Barton of Tennessee, and his wonderful cousins.
