Douglas "Doug" Reese Miller

Douglas “Doug” Reese Miller, 62, of Michael Street, died Sunday, December 18,2 016, at his home.   The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, December 21 and other times at the home of his daughter on Leonard Road.   Mr. Miller was born March 6, 1955, in Davidson County, to George Reese Miller and Shirley Wood Miller. He was a Superintendent at Fowler Jones Beers Construction and served as an auctioneer in Thomasville and Lexington. Mr. Miller served in the U.S. Marines. His parents preceded him in death.   Surviving are his loving wife, Dianne Ross Davis Miller of the home; daughters, Kim Clapp and husband Kevin of Lexington, Tammy Farmer and partner Matthew Ticconi of Lexington, and Kelly Kinder and husband Bryan of Colorado; six grandchildren, Cory Coleman, Ryan Farmer, Tiffany Switzer, Toby Ticconi, Trey Kinder and Ty Kinder.
