Mr. Douglas Macarther Edmond,82, of Bremen Drive in Lexington, passed away January 18, 2025 at Atrium Wake Forest Baptist Lexington Medical Center in Lexington

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington, NC.

Mr. Edmond was born December 16, 1942, in Lexington County South Carolina to Mabel Edmond. He was preceded in death by his mother, his wife, Diane Adam’s Edmond, and a son Eric Edmond, Erica Edmond (daughter) and Sevyn Tyler (great-grandchild).

Surviving is his daughter  Paula Edmond, son James Edmond. Grandchildren: Parrish Edmond, Jessica (Edmond)Lozada, Darrien Williams, Darrius Williams, Jassmin Williams, DaQuan Taylor, Isys Taylor, Shaniya Rice, Germel Rice, Xavier Rice-Younger, Alexandria Younger, Jalissa Younger, Khalil Younger, Malik Edmond, Jessiah Edmond, Jace Edmond, Joeseph Edmond.
