Douglas Craig Winebarger

Douglas Craig Winebarger, 60, of High Point, passed away Saturday, October 5, 2024.

A funeral will be held on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at 2:00 PM, at Maranatha Baptist Tabernacle, with Mike Todd officiating.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 PM at the church prior to the service.

Burial will immediately follow in the church cemetery.

Douglas was born on July 8, 1964, in Davidson County, to Wanda Carol Sherrod Winebarger and the late Max Douglas Winebarger.

After completing high school, he proudly served his country in the Air Force. He later went to work for Hayco Aircraft, utilizing the skills and knowledge he gained while in the military.

He was an avid Clemson fan and watched any time there was a game, supporting the team with his loyalty. Douglas was a known patriot who loved his country and would do anything to preserve her freedom and way of life. Even after serving in the military, he remained a true servant to the flag he vowed to protect and uphold.

He is preceded in death by his father.

Left to carry on his legacy is his wife, Angie Winebarger, of the home; daughter, Aamna Shah, of the home; mother, Wanda Sherrod Winebarger; sister, Dawn Green (Mark), of Lexington; and stepmom, Nancy Winebarger, of Lexington.
