Druid Glenn Love, 75, of Patricia Lane, died Tuesday, July 5, 2011, at Lexington Memorial Hospital. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Egbert Craven officiating. Entombment will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home and other times at the home. Mr. Love was born September 29, 1935, in Davidson County, to Lester Green “L.G.” Love and Carrie Holshouser Love. He was retired from TI Industries. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Eddie Glenn Love; brothers, Wayne Love, Louis Love, Robert Love, Hubert Love, and L.G. Love Jr.; and an infant sister, Mildred Love. Surviving are his loving wife of 53 years, Mildred Adkins Love of the home; son, Bobby Dean Love and wife, Tracy, of Brunswick, Ga.; daughter, Vickie Love Lambeth and husband, Kenny, of Lexington; grandchildren, David Love and wife, Becky, of New Mexico, Beverly Love of Texas, Laura Love, Mitchell Lambeth, both of Lexington, Jordan Love and Annalee Love, both of Georgia; great-grandchildren, Kayla Love, Jacob Bovender, both of Lexington, Hannah Love and Hailey Love, both of New Mexico; sisters, Betty Love Graham and husband, Jerry, of Mocksville, and Nancy Love Everhart and husband, Jerry, of Welcome; and his favorite mother-in-law, Evelyn Rush. Memorials may be made to Reedy Creek Baptist Church, Building Fund, 600 Reedy Creek Baptist Church Road, Lexington, NC 27295; Susan G. Komen For the Cure, 1106 Burke Street, Winston-Salem, NC 27101.
