Dustin Ernest Floyd

Dustin Ernest Floyd, 36, of Lexington passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2019 at the Novant Health Clemmons Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at the Davidson Funeral Home Lexington Chapel with the Rev. Eric Disher officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until 11:00 am prior to the service at the funeral home, and other times at the home. Mr. Floyd was born in Guilford County on April 17, 1983 to Steve Alton Floyd and Dorothy Flynn Floyd. He was a carpenter for Chester Clark.  Dustin had several hobbies which included a love of refinishing furniture and drumming.  His dogs had a very special place in his heart and he loved them very much. Dustin was a loving son and fiancé with a beautiful spirit, and a smile that will live forever in the people that he loved.  He was kind-hearted, very respectful and always looked for the good in people.  He will be forever missed by his family and friends, but he has been set free from all of the strongholds that he endured. Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Steve and Dorothy Floyd; his fiancée, Teri Witmore, all of Lexington; and all of the special people that touched his life.
