Earleen Bryant Burkhart

Earleen Bryant Burkhart, 70, of Mt. Moriah Drive, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 10, 2018 surrounded by her family at Forsyth Medical Center.   Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, March 16, 2018 at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel in Lexington with the Rev. Mike Shoaf officiating and burial will follow in the East End Baptist Church Cemetery.  Visitation will be held at Davidson Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, March 15, 2018, and other times at her son’s home located at 1937 Greensboro Street Ext., Lexington, NC 27295.   Earleen was born on July 29, 1947 in Oklahoma County to Hovie Earl Bryant and Marqueritte Wilson Bryant.  She was retired from Atrium Doors and was of the Baptist faith.   Surviving are her sons, Chris Edmondson and Bryan Edmondson (Sara); daughter, Paige Overcash (Jeff); sister, Barbara Hegger of Cedar Mount, NC; first husband, Larry Edmondson (Nancy) of Lexington; 9 grandchildren, Chris Edmondson, Jr. (Danielle); Amanda Fortune (Keith); Zachary and Talia Edmondson; Nicholas and Daniel Overcash; Bradley Young; Amber Cottrell; and Adam Peoples; 12 great-grandchildren, Austin, Taylor, Logan, Alyssa, Palmer, Jordyn, Jaylee, Zion and Kenzie; family of the late Onell Burkhart; her beloved dog, Mitzi; and special adopted family, Julia, Kevin, Cody, Zeb and Hollie Harris, Natasha Pittman, and staff and friends at Mt. Moriah.
