Early Jacob Lookabill, Jr.

Early Jacob Lookabill, Jr., 74 of Jerusalem Road, Lexington died Sunday in Lexington Memorial Hospital. Mr. Lookabill was born in Davidson County April 11, 1932 to Early Jacob Lookabill, Sr. and Lillie Peacock Lookabill. He was a retired employee of Lexington Furniture and a member of Sheets Memorial Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Glenn, Gilbert and Johnny Lookabill and sisters; Pearl Curry and Exie Williams. Surviving are his wife Naomi Meachum Lookabill of the home; sons Earl Mason Lookabill and wife Mary of Boynton Beach, Florida and Charles Lookabill of Lexington; daughter Terry Barnette and husband Byron of Lexington; grandchildren Matthew Lookabill, Terri Jo Jones, Magnum Barnette, and Byron Barnette all of Lexington, Austin Lookabill of Okeechobee, Florida, Martin Lookabill of Garner, NC, Mary Royce Lookabill and Theresa Jean Lookabill both of Boynton Beach, Florida; seven great-granchildren; brother Bill Lookabill and wife Joyce of Cerro Gordo, NC; sisters Minnie Ferguson of Lexington and Helen Meachum and husband Bob of McLeansville. The funeral service will be held 3:00 PM Thursday (12-7-2006)at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel. The service will be conducted by Rev. Frankie Matthews and Rev. Earl M. Lookabill. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. Mr. Lookabill will be available for the public on Wednesday Night however the family will be at the home. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 PM Thursday prior to the service at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington.
