Edda Ortilli Hill

Edda Ortilli Hill, age 82, of Brookstone Rest Home in Lexington passed away Saturday morning June 26, 2010 at Hinkle Hospice House. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Monday at Jersey Baptist Church with the Rev. Clyde Akers officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm Sunday at Davidson Funeral Home Lexington Chapel. Mrs. Hill was born on July 17, 1927 in Pisa, Italy to Umberto Gabrilli and Emma Cirdi Gabrilli. She was member of Jersey Baptist Church and retired from Acme Veneer. She was preceded in death by her husband Jessie Junior Hill who passed away in January, 2009. Surviving are a son Jimmy Hill and wife Trudy of Lexington; a daughter Barbara Sue Tuttle and husband Marvin of Mocksville; four grandchildren, Todd Hill and wife Kim, Brandy Spainhour and husband Ramie, Steven Byerly and wife Susan and Capria Whitlock and husband Ron; six great-grandchildren Madison Whitlock, Carly and Mason Spainhour, Sophia Hill, Eli and Thomas Byerly and her loving dog Maryann.
